Why Macroshifts

It's the closest thing to a founder seat — without the cap table.

Most studios outsource the senior thinking and hand the work to a junior bench. We do the opposite. You'll plan the product, build it, ship it, and stand next to the founder when it's time to raise. Every quarter, you'll see the result of work you actually did.

In exchange we ask for taste, ownership, and the kind of judgement that only comes from having shipped before. We don't have an "associate" tier. There's no internal politics about whose name goes on the deck. The studio is small on purpose.

We respect your time. Every step has a purpose, you'll never speak to more than six people, and we tell you yes or no within 48 hours of the final conversation.

A paid, scoped exercise reflecting real studio work — review it together with the team that'd hire you.

Offer & references

If we're both excited, you'll have an offer within 48 hours. Two references, mutual.
